The 10-round lightweight bout between the two rising stars, breaking the boxing mould to set themselves apart and contribute to the growth of the sport, will take place on Saturday, July 20 on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson & Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano and Ashton Sylve v Floyd Schofield.

The 20-year-old MVP sensation from Long Beach, California, Ashton “H2O” Sylve, is back in the ring after winning a 10-round fight on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects V in February against Estivan Falcao of Brazil.

After Sylve’s August 2023 knockout of seasoned fighter William Silva on the Paul vs. Diaz show, the bout represented a step up in class for Sylve. Now that both have their sights set on challenging for a title in the near future, Sylve, the ESPN Ringside 2022 Prospect of the Year, will try his skills against Schofield, another elite boxing prospect.
