Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano Preview

On November 15, Katie Taylor (23-1)—the two-time undefeated champion—will rematch with Amanda Serrano (46-2-1). The battle, which is widely regarded as the greatest in women’s boxing history, will take place as the co-main event, along with a heavyweight bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.

According to Tyson’s remark, Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano are two of the world’s top boxers. “I’m excited to have them both join this card since I know they can both put on an amazing display.

At Madison Square Garden in New York on April 30, 2022, Taylor defeated Serrano via a razor-thin split decision. It was the first women’s boxing contest to take centre stage on MSG, and it lived up to the hype. The first fight was regarded as significant in combat sports and was among the best of the year for both men’s and women’s boxing.

Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano rematch set for Netflix

Along with Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson, the bout for the undisputed super lightweight championship will serve as the co-main event. The Dallas Cowboys NFL team’s 80,000-cap stadium will host the global Netflix simulcast of the event.

A little less than two years ago, Taylor won at Madison Square Garden via split decision against Serrano. It won the titles of Event of the Year from The Ring and Fight of the Year from Sports Illustrated.

Serrano will go up from featherweight for the fight while Taylor risks losing her extremely light championships.I’m sure the rematch will be no different from the first fight in New York, which was clearly an epic occasion and more than lived up to the billing.

In October, Serrano defeated Danilo Ramos via unanimous decision in their most recent fight. It lasted for twelve rounds, each lasting three minutes. Serrano has made it clear that she wants women to box under the same regulations as males. But she and Taylor will square off over ten two-minute rounds.

“It feels like a dream come true to know that Katie and I are finally making it happen on the biggest stage possible to show the world. I promised my fans they would see this rematch after we made history at MSG.”
