Tyson vs Paul Live

Neeraj Goyat-Whindersson Nunes on the undercard between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul

The undercard for the upcoming fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul promises to be exciting, especially with a unique matchup between Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat and Brazilian comedian-turned-boxer Whindersson Nunes. This bout adds international flair and intrigue to the card, bringing together two fighters from vastly different backgrounds and experiences in the sport.

The first international signee of Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions will debut on the undercard of Paul’s July 20 showdown with Mike Tyson, officials confirmed.

In a six-round super middleweight fight weighing 165 pounds, Indian fighter Neeraj Goyat (18-4-2, 8 KOs) will face Brazilian sensation Whindersson Nunes for the first time under the MVP brand.

Goyat, 32, is regarded as one of the top boxers in India and the first Indian fighter to appear in the WBC world rankings. Earlier this year, he tried to have a fight with Paul by using social media, but instead he ended up signing with Paul’s organisation. Goyat has more than a million Instagram followers and has made appearances in Bollywood films and Indian television.

Goyat, the three-time WBC Asia champion, has won nine of his previous ten bouts, losing only to Jose Zepeda, a candidate for the lightweight and super lightweight titles. When Goyat came to Puerto Rico to challenge “The Problem Child” to a boxing bout, it was his viral video that drew Paul’s notice. The two possible competitors put aside their differences and teamed up after seeing the video, which has received over two million likes on Instagram.

“I couldn’t be more excited to make my MVP debut on what promises to be the biggest boxing event in history,” Goyat stated. “I’m striving to make history and make my nation proud, not just for myself, since millions of people in India are following my every move.

Neeraj Goyat vs Whindersson Nunes Boxing to Netflix, Nakisa, and the entire MVP team for this chance to shine on the largest platform in the world. I hope that this momentous occasion would be watched by all Indians worldwide.

With just around 60 million Instagram followers, Nunes is a worldwide celebrity best renowned for his comedic skills. Despite being 0-1 as a professional boxer, the 29-year-old has participated in a number of exhibition fights, most notably against Acelino “Popo” Freitas, a former two-division world champion. Nunes lost to Nathan “My Mate Nate” Bartling via unanimous decision last October, which occurred on the undercard of KSI vs. Tommy Fury.

Goyat vs. Nunes is part of a packed undercard that also includes the eagerly awaited rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano for Taylor’s undisputed women’s super lightweight title, Ashton “H20” Sylve vs. Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield, and MMA fighter Darren Till making his professional boxing debut against former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The event will be aired live on Netflix and will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Bidarian and Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions, said in a statement, “We’re strategically supplementing Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano 2 with two more international stars in Neeraj Goyat and Whindersson Nunes, along with the rest of our historic card, to drive patriotic engagement with the event from two of the biggest countries in the world.” “Neeraj Goyat, who is perhaps the best Indian boxer of all time, will now get the chance to compete for India in one of the greatest boxing tournaments ever.

You have to recognise that Whindersson Nunes is a Brazilian badass who is prepared to take on the task when he steps back into the ring against a much more seasoned fighter. “With very devoted fan bases and extensive reach throughout Brazil and India, these two fighters are viral content generators. It’s not just about the exciting fights; it’s also about bringing boxing fans from all around the world together for a once-in-a-lifetime event and advancing the sport.”
