Till v Chavez Jr: Darren Till will make his professional boxing debut against former WBC world middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Till v Chavez Jr fight is scheduled for six rounds and will be contested at cruiserweight with a weight limit of 190 pounds.
Till, 31, makes his professional boxing debut following a stellar UFC career as a welterweight and middleweight, totaling 18-5-1.
In 2018, the Liverpool, England native fought Tyron Woodley for the UFC welterweight championship, but was defeated by submission in the second round. After starting his MMA career 17-0-1, Till dropped 1-5 in his following six fights, losing to Jorge Masvidal, Robert Whittaker, and current UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis. Till’s loss against du Plessis in December 2022 marked his final fight in the Octagon.

Also announced for the Tyson-Paul undercard is a matchup between undefeated lightweight prospects H2O Sylve (11-0, 9 KOs) and Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield (17-0, 12 KOs). The bill will also include a highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, ensuring an entertaining night of bouts on July 20.
